At the end of 2024, I realized that it was no longer enough to sit at home, be dissatisfied with political developments, and constantly complain. If you want to change things, you have to get involved and take action yourself. That's why, at the beginning of 2025, I actively joined a political party.

I am very interested in renewable energy and the environment. I want the world to be inhabitable for our children and future generations. So burning fossil fuels is no option at all. And we also need to question where the money we spend for fossil fuels goes to. Most of the money goes countries that surely not encourage a democratic society. So I decided to join the Green party (Bündnis 90 / Die Grünen).

From the start, I did not want to be just a passive member, but to contribute and take responsibility. I had the opportunity to do so, for example, during the 2025 local election campaign here in North Rhine–Westphalia.

At the end of 2025, I was elected spokesperson of the Wesel local chapter.
